The problem

Money S3 reads data, the bank sends a PDF

Statement import in Money S3 expects a data file in the format of the chosen service. When a bank or payment service sends only a PDF, every transaction has to be retyped by hand.

VýpisFlow reads the PDF, checks that the balances add up and creates an ABO or MultiCash file. You choose the format by the service set for that account in Money S3.

Known limitations

  • -The Money S3 import is not tested against every version of the software; run the first import on test data.
  • -ABO is not created for foreign currencies or for banks without a verified ABO profile.
  • -Matching payments to documents happens in Money S3 according to your settings.

Statement import in Money S3

Money S3 works with statement import services. The service must match the format of the downloaded file and the bank account number.

  1. 1.In Money S3 check that the bank account number matches the statement.
  2. 2.Open Účetnictví / Výpis z účtu / Import výpisu (Accounting / Bank statement / Import).
  3. 3.Choose the ABO or MultiCash service for the downloaded file and select it.
  4. 4.After the import, check the number of transactions and the closing balance.

Troubleshooting

When conversion stops safely

Money S3 rejects the file

The chosen service does not match the format. Import an ABO file with the ABO service and an .sta file with MultiCash.

ABO is not offered

The account is in a foreign currency or the bank has no verified ABO profile. Use MultiCash.

The account number does not match

Import a statement only into the account it comes from. Do not edit the account number in the file.

Before your first import

Which format should I choose for Money S3?

ABO for a CZK account at a supported bank, otherwise MultiCash. Money S3 lists both among its statement import services.

Does VýpisFlow support Revolut or Wise statements for Money S3?

Yes, through MultiCash, if the bank and currency are in the compatibility matrix. We do not create ABO for these services.

Does VýpisFlow connect to Money S3 directly?

No. VýpisFlow creates a file that you import yourself. It has no access to your Money S3 database.
